A Quiet Week for Crypto: More Red Than Green
Over the past seven days, the majority of top-ranked cryptocurrencies in our database posted declines, with only 20 tokens finishing higher while 93 ended the week lower.
These figures point to a generally subdued trading environment, with very few significant moves in either direction. The limited number of gainers and the prevalence of small percentage changes suggest that traders and investors were largely on the sidelines or taking a cautious approach during this period.
Top Gainers: Marginal Moves at the Top
Among the week’s top performers, Basic Attention Token (BAT) led with a modest gain of +0.27%, bringing its price to $0.180658 and securing it the #150 spot by market cap. This increase was the largest among all tracked tokens, but it still represents a relatively minor movement in absolute terms. BAT’s performance stands out primarily due to the overall lack of upward action elsewhere in the market.
Monero (XMR) followed as the second biggest gainer, rising by +0.11% over seven days to reach $591.62 and maintaining its position as the 13th largest token by market cap. While XMR’s percentage gain was even smaller than BAT’s, its high price point means even fractional changes can be notable for holders and observers alike.
Injective (INJ) rounded out the top three gainers with a minimal +0.07% increase, closing at $8.45 and holding rank #84.
Behind these leaders, both TIA and MX managed identical gains of +0.01%, ending at $0.609063 (rank #102) and $1.93 (rank #194), respectively. The narrow range between these top five gainers highlights just how little positive price movement there was among major tokens this week.

Biggest Losers: Mild Declines Dominate
On the downside, GRASS posted the largest drop among top-ranked tokens with a -0.26% decline over seven days, settling at $0.597092 and ranking #125 by market cap. This loss was only slightly steeper than those seen across other leading decliners but still reflects a relatively calm market without sharp corrections or panic selling.
ZRO recorded a -0.24% move lower to finish at $1.85 (rank #90), while M fell by -0.22% to $0.709764 (rank #62). Each of these declines stayed within a quarter-percent range, further underscoring the muted nature of weekly trading activity among top cryptocurrencies.
PUMP and AXS completed the list of biggest losers with drops of -0.21% (to $0.004454, rank #49) and -0.20% (to $0.991935, rank #199), respectively.
A Narrow Range: What This Week’s Moves Reveal
Looking at both sides of the ledger, this week was defined not by volatility but by its absence—both gains and losses were confined to exceptionally narrow ranges across nearly all major tokens tracked in our database. The largest weekly gainer rose just +0.27%, while the steepest loser slipped only -0.26%. With 93 out of 113 tokens posting declines yet none registering dramatic drops, there is little evidence of broad-based fear or excitement driving trading decisions during this period.
The clustering of both gains and losses around fractions of a percent suggests that participants are waiting for clearer signals before making substantial moves in either direction. BAT’s position as top gainer with less than one-third of one percent growth—and GRASS as top loser with just over one-quarter percent decline—exemplifies this stasis.
This week’s crypto market action was characterized by widespread but shallow declines, offset by only minimal gains among a handful of tokens like BAT (+0.27%), XMR (+0.11%), and INJ (+0.07%). With no major breakouts or breakdowns captured in our data, sentiment appears neutral-to-cautious as traders await more decisive trends or catalysts in future weeks.
